MASTER SERGEANT VITO BERTOLDO

Vito Bertoldo, born on December 1, 1916 in Decatur, Illinois, was a United States Army soldier and a recipient of the military's highest decoration — the Medal of Honor— for his actions in France during World War II (January 1945) when he was 28 years old.
